Hey love!

I’m Mimi, the face behind FitByMimi. My fitness journey actually started way before I ever picked up a dumbbell. Growing up, I was always a dancer. I loved expressing myself through movement, but my passion wasn’t without its challenges. Throughout high school, I faced a series of injuries that pushed me to the limit physically and mentally. These injuries didn’t just impact my dance—they changed the way I viewed my body and what it was capable of.

Fast forward to architecture school, where things didn’t get any easier. The long hours of sitting and working on projects took a toll on my body, and I was still dealing with the lingering effects of those past injuries. That’s when I realized I needed to take charge of my own health—physically, emotionally, and mentally. My love for fitness sparked as a way to heal myself and regain strength.

I started teaching Poundfit, a class that combines drumming with bodyweight exercises, and that’s where I really found my calling. It allowed me to blend my passion for movement with a way to strengthen and heal my body. That experience led me to dive deeper into the world of fitness, and I eventually became a certified personal trainer.

What started as a personal journey to heal myself turned into a mission to help others feel empowered and capable in their own bodies. I’m now dedicated to supporting individuals in their own fitness journeys, whether that’s overcoming injuries, gaining strength, or simply discovering what their bodies can do. Fitness is so much more than just physical—it’s about reclaiming your power and embracing your full potential.

I truly believe we all have the ability to heal and grow, and I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way. Let’s move, let’s grow, and let’s thrive together!
